As photographers we try hard to highlight a behaviour, a natural phenomenon. We like to photograph animals while they are doing something, we like to enter in their world secretly, without disturbing...

A strange pair of friends. The shrimp Periclimenes magnificus on the snake eel Ophichtus melanochir. We observed often the shrimp, on sandy bottom, staying on the eel's head well before the normal cleaning operations. This is another example of behaviour not easy to explain. Every aggression is put aside: the shrimp normally could be an easy prey for the eel, that this time seems happy to be its basement...
